- Build more muscle, less fat
- Sustain high insulin sensitivity
- Great to be taken with Creatine Power
- Multi phase free radicals scavenger

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) helps to maintain insulin sensitivity. This
is achieved by increasing the mobility of a specific but important
type of insulin receptors (GLUT 4) by protecting them from
excessive oxidation.

This property  made ALA  valuable to weight trainers. In a mass
gaining phase, increased calories intake is necessary to create
anabolic/growth environment. Unfortunately with increased
calories intake, insulin sensitivity tend to be blunted. The lower the
insulin sensitivity, the more calories will be deposited into the fat
cells rather than muscle cells: something not favourable to
serious bodybuilders. About 100mg taken with the each meal
works well.

This is where ALA can be of value. ALA helps to sustain high
insulin sensitivity.  Increased insulin sensitivity means more
nutrients are partitioned into the body compartment you want: the
muscle cells rather than fat cells.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is also well known as "the universal
anti-oxidant", meaning it is both water and fat soluble. It also
serves as a universal anti-oxidant reenforcers when certain
antioxidants in the body fall short.

This formula is fortified with Biotin which is an essential cofactor
of intracellular carboxylase enzymes and is important for energy
production and lipid metabolism.

Note: Individuals who are diabetic, being treated for serum
glucose control, pregnant or lactating should consult a health
care professional before using this product.
